Murashige & Skoog Medium Modification No. 2A is a reduced-strength MS formulation in which the macro-element concentration is lowered to 3/4 of the standard MS level. This modification is designed to decrease overall ionic strength and osmotic pressure, making it suitable for salt-sensitive plant tissues and controlled growth conditions.
